Hallmarks of aging
Biogerontology is the new science that aims to extend human healthspan by addressing the biological basis of aging. It revolves around the concept of the Hallmarks of Aging, a framework introduced in 2013 by LĂłpez-OtĂn et al. and further expanded in the paper Hallmarks of Aging: An Expanding Universe in 2023.
